This course is designed by WorkCover for OHS Committee members and or OHS
Representatives. It meets the training requirements as set out in
the OHS Regulation 2001. The OHS Committee course is also
referred to as OHS Consultation course. The course covers the following topics:

Workplace Health & Safety
• The
Role of OHS Consultation in the Workplace
•
Effective OHS Consultation in the Workplace
•
Systematic Management of Health and Safety
•
Action Learning Exercise
•
Continuous Improvement of OHS Systems
•
Summary & Conclusion
The OHS Committee training can be run in-house and tailored to your organization.
Delivery of the course is flexible but must be completed within a 2 month
period. Successful participants will be issued with a WorkCover
approved statement of training.
