General course information

  We offer training courses in the Sydney Chatswood area, close to public transport.

This qualification is a legal requirement for all persons doing construction work. 
Our courses are delivered in a convenient location, close to public transport.  The course is also known as White Card or Construction Induction certificate, but it's official name is CPCCOHS1001A Work Safely in the Construction Industry.  Examples of this qualification are shown below..


 

All people doing construction work are legally required to get this certificate.  However many people from a variety of backgrounds
understand the value of having this qualification

When we run our courses, we use many personal real life experiences to illustrate the theories.  We also encourage participants to
interact and ask questions.  We use videos and other visuals to show how safety can be implemented.
When we talk about safety, we talk from experience.

So who is Coastal OHS Services? We are a Registerered Training Organization (RTO 91577), owned and managed by Erik Gunzel
who has more than 20 years industry experience.  The last 10 years of his career with Masterfoods and Mars Food he was their
safety officer and spent significant time in the development of Risk management and OHS management systems that complied with the strict
requirements of the WorkCover Model for Self Insurers.
