Who is Coastal OHS Services?
Coastal OHS Services Pty Ltd

a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and based on the Central Coast of
NSW. Founding Director Erik Gunzel has over
20 years experience
in the manufacturing industry in both operational and managerial roles.
A significant part of this time was spent in OHS Risk Management and the
design & development of OHS Management Systems in accordance with strict
WorkCover Self Insurer requirements.

1) WorkCover NSW OHS Consultation
course
- 4 days
This course is designed by WorkCover for OHS Committee members and or OHS
Representatives. It meets the training requirements as set out in
the OHS Regulation 2001. The OHS Consultation course is also
referred to as OHS Committee course. The course covers the following topics:

Workplace Health & Safety
• The
Role of OHS Consultation in the Workplace
•
Effective OHS Consultation in the Workplace
•
Systematic Management of Health and Safety
•
Action Learning Exercise
•
Continuous Improvement of OHS Systems
•
Summary & Conclusion
The OHS Consultation course can be run in-house and tailored to your organization.
Delivery of the course is flexible but must be completed within a 2 month
period. Successful participants will be issued with a WorkCover
approved statement of training.
2) OHS
Construction Induction (Green Card) - 6½ hours
(Work Safely in the Construction Industry CPCCOHS1001A))
This is a course is a requirement for those
doing construction work. However, many people from any trade see the
benefit of doing this course just to gain general knowledge about
Occupational Health & Safety. The course can be run
in-house and made specific to your organization.
On successful completion, participants
will receive a statement of training on the day, followed by a WorkCover
issued, credit card sized qualification.
This course is also known as White Card
Recognized Prior Learning (RPL) may be available for this course,
provided certain conditions are met. Contact us for more
